Specifications include, but are not limited to: This work includes providing all material, resilient base, floor preparation, labor,equipment, tools, and incidentals necessary to furnish and install carpet tile in the proposed office and conference room area, luxury vinyl tile flooring in the corridor to the front toilet rooms, break room, and waiting area, and porcelain tile flooring and tile base in the front toilet rooms as shown on the attached project drawing. The work shall also include the removal and replacement of approximately fifty (100) vinyl composition tiles with similar colored tiles to facilitate the installation of new carpet tile. See attached photos for existing floor conditions. The Contractor shall submit all applicable material specifications and samples to the County for review and approval prior to the start of the work. Work will be performed with the floor unoccupied other than other trades working in the same area. Please note that contractors bidding on this project shall anticipate the need to possibly modify the proposed construction schedule due to uncertainties surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
