Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 The County seeks a vendor to automate, manage, audit and administer the dayto-day operations of the TAP, a curb-to-curb transportation program for eligible seniors and people with disabilities. 2.2 The Contractor will work with taxi companies to advise on compatible equipment by providing hardware/software requirements and system specifications. Taxi companies will be ultimately responsible for providing compatible hardware and software systems in their vehicles. The Contractor must provide initial training on the usage of the software and equipment to both taxi companies and County personnel at no additional cost. 2.3 The solution should utilize an electronic “debit type” swipe card to be provided and managed by the Contractor with processes in place to minimize fraud, abuse and misuse, and ensure customer satisfaction.
