Specifications include, but are not limited to: Located in Annapolis, Maryland, Judicial Information Systems (JIS) is comprised of seven business units including technology and application architecture, management and support, enterprise information security, IT portfolio and project management, and customer services serving the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), District Court, Circuit Court, and Appellate Courts statewide. As the Judicial branch of state government, the Maryland Judiciary serves public citizens statewide. To assure the availability of systems within the court, comprehensive Disaster Recovery Plan is required. The DR Plan and associated documentation and processes are intended to serve as the centralized repository for the information, tasks, and procedures that would be necessary to facilitate the timely response to any disruptive or extended interruption of the department's normal business operations and services. The Judiciary recently updated its approach for recovery services and plans are evolving to correspond with these services.
