Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Provisions under this section include but are not limited to, Installation of new fire protection fire-suppression system, such as automatic wet pipe, wet-pipe sprinkler system and dry-pipe system, fire alarm system, repairing or upgrading of existing fire protection system and related work statewide. B. Selected demolition, removal and disposal of removed materials, equipment and related materials, Installation of new fire protection sprinkler system, installation of sprinkler piping, sprinkler heads, fire pump, valves, fire extinguishing system, basic electrical work, basic mechanical work and other life safety protection system. C. Installation of new fire alarm system or repairing and upgrading existing fire alarm system. Installation of new annunciator panel, heat detectors, smoke detectors, duct detectors, addressable fire alarm, voice paging capability, fireman’s telephone communication, manual stations, elevator controls, necessary wire and cable, etc. D. Contractor may be required to analyze the current systems in-place, equipment, procedures and policies and to make recommendations for the least cost effective way to implement a system that meets the budget and facilities fire protection requirements, such as the prison system, detention center, health center facilities, etc.
