Specifications include, but are not limited to: The kiosk grave locator is an interactive computer screen that gives veteran burial information and gravesite locations for veterans and dependents buried in the cemetery. The current cemetery kiosk grave locater software needs to be replaced. The recommended software solution must be compatible with the Kiosk touchscreen system currently located at each cemetery. The software solution must be able to decipher and integrate data collected by the National Cemetery Administration’s (NCA) Burial Operations Support System (BOSS). The software solution will be installed on State-provided laptops. FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The software solution must include the following list of key features and functions: a) Grave search by name, date of birth, date of death, etc. b) Displaying grave locations on a map tailored to each cemetery location. c) Recording and managing burial details. d) Generating burial certificates, reports, gravesite information, site location, and printouts (both written and visual). The software solution must also be compatible with the kiosk printer (Practical Automation - Model ITK38-D). e) Definable user management and access control. f) Integration with existing cemetery management systems kiosk, BOSS, and MD.Gov. g) Updateable via USB or over the internet. h) Software must be scalable and able to handle a growing number of grave records and users. i) User interface with existing kiosks located at each cemetery.
