Specifications include, but are not limited to: sized forestry mulcher. Chainsaws will be of limited practicality and therefore not required. 3. The Maine Army Guard Natural Resource Manager be on-site to provide directions the first day of operation to provide direction on the locations and vegetation to be cut/mowed. The vegetation will be cut/mowed using a forestry mulcher only. All hardwood shrub 3" Diameter Breast Height (DBH) and smaller to be mowed, any eastern white pine (Pinus strobus) shall be mowed if within capability of forestry mulcher, no pitch pine (Pinus rigida) shall be cut or mowed. 4.No pesticides/herbicides shall be used. 5. Contractors are required to stay within property boundaries pictured in Appendix F at all times. 6. All waste generated must be removed from the site by the Contractor. 7. This work can be accomplished during most rain events; enough time is built into the contract to complete work should weather disrupt progress. Hours of operation during standard business hours is expected. Weekend work is permitted but must be pre-approved to avoid Guard drill weekends. 8. Contractor must provide a work plan for how services described above will be completed. 9.Fire Break services must be performed in accordance with the Hollis Training Fire Break Work Plan 2019.
