Specifications include, but are not limited to: Wide Area Network (WAN) Services Internet Services (ISP) Hosted Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Services Fax Services Co-located datacenter space Interconnection to LONI (Louisiana Optical Network Infrastructure) services Associated Equipment The successful proposer will provide a level of consultation services for the configuration of core networking and telecommunications gear to ensure that (VOIP) phone services are not adversely affected by high or irregular internet/network traffic and likewise, the internet should not be adversely affected by VOIP use. The services provided through this RFP shall be robust and capable of providing continuity of business in the event of any disaster that prevents normal business operation from occurring, such as hurricanes, floods, tornados, etc. 24x7x365 premium support using technicians/Network Operations Center (NOC) personnel stationed within 50 miles of Lacombe, LA must be included in all solutions. Northshore Technical Community College desires to obtain multiple products and services which will accomplish the following: Wide Area Network (WAN) Services – allow the efficient transfer of data between campuses and eliminate existing fragmentation with regards to our remote campuses and sites. Internet Services (ISP) – obtain high speed internet to support the ever-increasing demand for quality online learning resources and collaboration. Hosted Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Services – Replace antiquated campus-based PBX hardware with single integrated voice platform. Fax Services – Eliminate cost-prohibitive POTS phone lines while providing necessary fax services for the College. Co-located datacenter space – Provides highly redundant access to host publically available mission-critical services. Provides additional business continuity options for the College. This space will also serve to host the border firewall and act as an inter-connection point to the LONI network. Obtain affordable solutions to provide these technological services to students, businesses, and industry without new or increased funds. Allow the College to service our students as a single institution, rather than disjointed independent campuses.
