Specifications include, but are not limited to: Mounting of dishes (Poles and Masts) may call for different mounting solutions. Suggested as most common would be a pole. Pole shall be standard 3/8” 5 ft. fencing pole and shall be concreted into the ground using 50 lb. bags of quickrete. In the event a pole cannot be used, then the dish may be mounted onto a building. With this type of mounting our first option would be to utilize a mast on a shingled roof, using an anchor with centered lag bolts being driven into the rafter, followed with an additional 4 corner bolt s to help secure the mast. If this method is used, contract must use a layer of bishops tape (Stern or equal) to seal the holes as the lags are driven in. Lags shall be approximately ½” lag bolts with 3 inches in length. Last option shall be a corner mount.
