Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work area shall include the Control Room and the seating area of the Auditorium. The source of mold growth is believed to be from condensation due to mixing of air from above the Auditorium ceiling and below the sheetrock ceiling and below the drop ceiling. It is assumed at this point that the contaminated wall surfaces can be cleaned and treated, but alternate bids for removal are requested. All mold remediation work is to be done by a Louisiana Licensed Mold Remediation Contractor. Control Room The Control Room shall be contained under negative pressure. All contents of the Control Room shall be cleaned and disinfected with an EPA approved biocide/disinfectant. All surfaces of the Control Room shall be cleaned and disinfected with an EPA approved biocide/disinfectant. The HVAC ducts and supply vents in the Control Room shall be cleaned and disinfected. Auditorium It does not appear to be feasible to place the auditorium under negative pressure. Isolation methods to control dust away from the stage should be used which may include polyethylene sheeting and/or air scrubber configuration to control directional airflow. Access to the building with a hydraulic lift does not appear to be feasible, and it is likely that scaffolding will need to be erected. All ceiling tiles in the Auditorium are to be removed and discarded. Contractor will replace all removed ceiling tiles. All sheetrock wall and ceiling surfaces shall be cleaned and disinfected with an EPA approved biocide/disinfectant. Wall and ceiling surfaces shall be treated with an anti-microbial primer and re-painted to match the existing paint. Lower cinder block walls shall be cleaned and disinfected only. The sound absorbing panels on the side walls and the flat sound panels on the back wall under the Control Room shall be HEPA vacuumed. The sound panels on the back wall shall be treated with a biocide/disinfectant. Auditorium carpeting and seats shall be HEPA vacuumed. Non-fabric surfaces such as cement flooring and solid components of the chairs are to be cleaned and disinfected. The stage floor shall be mopped with a biocide/disinfectant.
