Specifications include, but are not limited to: The system must: • Easily integrate with external systems in use at LAPELS (CAVU Enforcement Module, Laserfiche) • Offer a web component or a mechanism to transfer data to/from Laserfiche/NIC-Louisiana Interactive in order to display information on the LAPELS website • Be extensible and offer flexibility to support the changing business requirements of LAPELS with minimal modification • Operate within the existing IT network without any required changes to the network • Conform to the existing IT security model and infrastructure • Be completely web-based, utilizing current technology standards • Allow all current data within the CAVU system to be migrated completely to the new system • Present users with a modern, clean, and efficient user interface which is tailored to LAPELS needs and requirements • Provide a comprehensive searching mechanism across all system components (the new system and existing CAVU Enforcement Module). o Allow searching on key fields o Enable the user to search on multiple fields at one time o Allow partial field searching to maximize search results o Provide a grid of search results with multiple columns of pertinent data, all sortable o Allow the user to view a record and return to search results without requiring the user to perform a new search • Limit the use of freeform text entry where possible. System should be table based as much as possible • Provide an administrator portal for table maintenance. Ex: schools • Allow international addresses within records • Provide auto-save and draft record functionality within applicable modules and functions. Ex: applications • Provide extensive reporting capabilities in either canned or Excel formats • Allow drag and drop functionality for attaching a file or a selection of multiple files to a file. There will be no file size or file type restrictions. • Support all browsers in all mobile platforms (applies to e-License Online)
