Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), the Department of Information Technology (DoIT) is seeking a vendor to provide the following solution for Metro APCD: • A cloud hosted system where companies directly enter process and emissions data that is validated upon entry to facilitate APCD’s review and enables APCD to electronically submit the final data to the US EPA’s Emissions Inventory System via the Exchange Network. • Metro APCD also expects the following: o Standards-based frameworks o Pluggable, reusable component-based development o Clear separation of User Interfaces (UI), business logic, and persistence layer o Open, well defined, and up-to-date standards. o System that is vendor supported that will continue to be updated to meet new security and compliance requirements Metro Windows based computing devices and software: • Devices are predominately operating on Windows 10, with a small portion of the devices needing to remain on Windows 7 and 8. • Metro has started the migration from Windows 10 to Windows 10 Creator. All solutions proposed shall be compatible with this operating system. • Metro is in the process of migrating all Metro users to Microsoft Office 365 (including SharePoint Online). • Windows laptops, Windows tablets and IOS iPads are part of our mobile infrastructure. • AD FS is Metro’s SSO system of choice. All services associated with this contract will be shipped to and managed within the geographic boundaries of Louisville Metro, Kentucky.
