Specifications include, but are not limited to: TARC requests qualified bidders to submit pricing proposals for the removal of the old van decals and the creation, printing and installation of 100 complete “Every Commute Counts” Van Wraps made of vinyl on TARC/KIPDA’s Ford Transit 8-passenger, 12-passenger, and 15-passenger vans and TARC/KIPDA’s Ford Econoline (E-350) 12-passenger and 15-passenger vans. The portion of the wrap that covers the windows should be perforated to permit the occupants to see outside. The proposer will also need to provide pricing for the removal of old van decals and the manufacture and installation of new wraps made of perforated material for any newly purchased vans that are added to the fleet (for a maximum of 25 per year) through 2024. TARC will award this contract to a sole qualified bidder meeting TARC’s criteria. PERFORMANCE • Contractor will print 100 complete sets of the decals on the appropriate decal material. • Contractor will begin removing current decals as soon as notified of van availability after award. • Contractor will install 100 of the new design vinyl van wraps on current TARC/KIPDA vehicles. • Contractor shall state the time required to remove current decals and apply one complete wrap to each vehicle. • Contractor shall state the total time to complete all 100 vehicles. • Contractor will remove old decals, print and install new van wraps to older vehicles as specified by TARC/KIPDA • Contractor will remove old decals, print and install new van wraps and to any new vans purchased for the duration of the contract; coordination and scheduling to be determined by TARC/KIPDA. • In the event that this time schedule needs to be revised or changed, Contractor will communicate any and all revisions or changes to KIPDA’s Program Manager. • All wraps installed by the Contractor will be inspected by KIPDA staff on a scheduled date and time (between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) agreed to by both the Contractor and KIPDA. • The target date to install the new Every Commute Counts van wraps to the current fleet is June 2019.
