Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Turkey Neck bend ferry is owned and operated by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). It serves as the sole crossing of the Cumberland River in Monroe County KY for approximately 23 miles. The ferry utilizes two truckable tugboats operating alternately 24hrs a day 7 days a week. The cabinet wants to replace both of these boats with new tugs. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain information in regards to truckable tugboat (not to exceed 25’ 11”) offerings in the current market place that would meet our needs.
