Specifications include, but are not limited to: Kentucky Emergency Management (KYEM) on behalf of Jackson County, Kentucky, (County) Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP) invites a proposal from various tower vendors for the enhancement of Kentucky Emergency Warning System (KEWS) site 7-10 used for public safety radio communications systems to support mission-critical communications within Jackson County. The proposed enhanced communications site will provide two-way wireless communications capabilities to law enforcement, fire, emergency medical services (EMS), emergency management as well as KEWS integrated communications and information network. Site development includes; but not limited to, drainage, preparation, finish grading, stone, weed fabric, and erosion control. Utilities to site cost includes; but not limited to, trenching, backfill, conduits, conductors, meter base, equipment, permits, and inspections. Security fence includes: but not limited to, fence, posts, gates, barbed wire, latches, locks, and area signage. Foundations includes; but not limited to, tower, shelter, fuel tank, generator, and testing, permits and inspections. Generator and ATS includes; but not limited to, wiring, conduit, trenching, inspections, startups, and owner training. Propane fuel tank includes; but not limited to, fuel lines to generator. Grounding includes; but not limited to, tower and shelter ground rings, fence, tower, shelter exterior, exterior ancillary equipment, TGB, EGB, ice bridge, MGB, TELCO, etc. Isolation transformer includes; but not limited to, transformer, required disconnects, and grounding. Surge protection devices (SPDs) includes; but not limited to, SPDs, required disconnects, and grounding.
