Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project primarily includes conventional roadway lighting at grade‐separated interchanges along controlled access highways. Conventional type lighting usually involves the following fixtures and locations: Cobrahead 100 watt HPS IES type 2/3 on interchange ramps (30 foot poles with variable arm lengths). Cobrahead 150 Watt HPS IES type 2/3 on interchange ramps (30 foot poles with variable arm lengths). Cobrahead 250 Watt HPS IES type 2/3 on interchange ramps, crossroads, intersections (at signals or beacons), bridges, and roundabouts (40 foot poles with variable arm lengths). This may also include continuous lighting. Cobrahead 400 Watt HPS IES type 2/3/long & narrow on the mainline at interchanges on controlled access highways (40 foot poles on barrier walls with variable arm lengths). This may also include continuous lighting. Variable Wattage pedestrian lighting at underpasses (mounted to underside of the bridge). Variable wattages for vehicle or pedestrian tunnel lighting. High mast lighting is not included in the project but may be added prior to contract execution. If high mast lighting is ultimately added to this project, high mast lighting is primarily installed at grade‐ separated interchanges along controlled access highways. Installations will usually involve: 400 watt HPS IES type 2, usually on 80 foot high mast poles 1000 watt HPS IES type 2), usually on 100 foot high mast poles 1000 watt HPS IES type 2), usually on 120 foot high mast poles High mast poles utilize lowering devices and are usually located 30 feet off the road or behind guardrail. Some may have shielding which includes 90, 120, 180 and full vertical cutoff. Some high mast is lighting is installed at intersections, and such installations usually involve a single pole.
