Specifications include, but are not limited to: Services are to be performed two (2) nights per week (Monday-Friday) at, or exceeding, the minimum person-daily hours for that location. Any common space as indicated at each location as well as all janitorial closets, storage areas, stairwells and mechanical rooms defined by the agency shall be included in this contract. Vendor shall be responsible for providing all cleaning supplies (disinfectants, cleaners, solvents, wax, paper products needed to perform janitorial services only) and proper equipment (commercial mop and mop bucket, commercial grade vacuum, etc.) to fulfill all cleaning requirements in this solicitation. Vendors will be provided a storage space to store equipment and supplies. Upon request, successful vendor shall submit SDS listings of all materials being used to perform the janitorial services. The agency reserves the right to approve/disapprove any product prior to the commencement of services. Floor Finish products shall be non-staining, shall provide a high degree of slip protection and shall meet the specifications of the Underwriter’s Laboratory. Disinfectant detergent cleaners shall be used for all normal cleaning requirements. Other cleaners used shall not be harmful to the surfaces to which they are applied. Dust mop treatment materials that leave any oily residue shall not be used for any reason. Vendor shall post rules and regulations governing the vendor’s employees while providing services at the agency office. A copy of the cleaning schedule shall also be posted in the vendor’s closet. Vendors shall be responsible for the satisfactory completion of cleaning requirements per the frequency schedule. All services performed as part of this contract are subject to monthly inspection and approval by a representative of the Office of Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
