Specifications include, but are not limited to: Dental Investigator-Statewide shall take work at the direction of Board Law Enforcement Committee (including the complaints and discipline employee), Executive Director and General Counsel. Under their direction, investigators will gather evidence in investigation of complaints received alleging violations of the KRS 313. Evidence gathering shall include studying and analyzing all types of dental records: patient/billing/insurance/business/legal/healthcare; also interviewing and locating witnesses and interested parties, both in person and otherwise. Investigator will travel across the Commonwealth on a regular basis performing job duties as required. Investigator shall prepare statements of work and reports of investigations to the satisfaction of General Counsel and LEC Committee. The Investigator will attend monthly meetings in Louisville and work as a team. Investigator will perform inspections of dental offices and equipment in conjunction with the requirements of KRS 313. Investigator will provide witness testimony and participate as needed in legal and administrative proceedings. Investigator will be available to assist in special projects such as grading continuing education audits and writing informational articles and other routine clerical tasks associated with licensure. The training and continuity for the scope of work for an investigator necessitates that only an individual will be awarded the contract the role; organizations of more than one individual will not be considered. The investigator should have at least 3 years of law enforcement experience.
