Specifications include, but are not limited to: Purpose The City of Salina hereby requests proposals from companies that are interested in and capable of providing a new video recording system. The successful vendor will design a system that will meet or exceed the scope of work within. The proposed system must meet both the present and future needs of the Salina Police Department. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Attend an informational briefing describing the present recording system and cameras. Prepare detailed design plans, construction drawings, specifications and bidding documents. The project scope shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: Recorder and Camera scope of work: Complete an assessment of the current recording and camera system. Design a system: o Utilizing parts of the current equipment if applicable. o Upon completion of site review provide recommended solution for the upgrade. Provide an explanation and cost analysis of additional system requirements. o This project will be completed in two to three phases. Provide a breakdown of equipment and cost for each phase. HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS: (2) IP based 16 channel recorders. o Recorder must be web management accessible o Static IP address capable for use on City of Salina LAN Minimum of 24 Tb of local storage space per recorder. o Redundant storage capability a bonus o Future storage expansion capability to a SAN solution also a bonus Minimum of 32 cameras o 10 Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) cameras with audio and video are required Physical media recording solution (DVD) Ensure main recording location can see all Camera locations Minimum of 3 remote locations can control PTZ cameras outside of the central location. Video and audio monitors in 5 locations (Dispatch, Records, Rooms 122, 110 and 104 High quality audio recording in Police Department Lobby, Room: 102, 103, 105, 112, 113, 114, and 203
