Specifications include, but are not limited to: Infield Areas 1.Strip and remove all current infield material to a minimum of three (3) inches).2.Laser grade, smooth and install new red shale or AgLime infield material to ensure proper drainage and cap with Turface Pro League infield conditioner.3.Crown infield with a 1% slope. Field will be crowned from the pitcher’s mound outward.4.Install clay bricks (provided by Shawnee County Parks + Recreation) at both batter’s boxes and in front ofthe pitching rubber at 40 and 43 feet.5.Install new infield irrigation using Hunter I25 heads, Hunter valves and Hunter system controls.6.Roll new infield dirt tight.7.Measure and install home plates, base anchors and pitching anchors (provided by Shawnee County Parks +Recreation) to USA Youth Softball standards with 60- and 65-foot base distances.Outfield Areas and Transitions for Field 1.Strip and regrade outfield by adding new material to match existing fence line.a.Specify material in response.2.Install new Fescue sod throughout outfield.3.Install new outfield irrigation using Hunter I25 heads, Hunter valves and Hunter system controls.
