Snow Removal Wichita Public Libraries

Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this bid is to provide snow removal services to City of Wichita public libraries. Clearing parking lots and walkway access around and to the facility of hazardous snow and ice buildup by use of industry standard methods (ice and snow melt but no salt around any vegetation, shoveling etc.). Contractor will be responsible to remove excessive product that is left behind after the event has passed. Sidewalks, entryways and parking lots need to be cleared before staff arrive when the timing of the winter weather event would reasonably allow as to allow safe entry to the parking lots and the facility. When winter weather occurs during business hours that would require removal/treatment all safety precautions while working around an open facility need to be taken to insure the safety of public and city staff. These areas will need to remain clear and properly treated during business hours.
