Specifications include, but are not limited to: Control practices in an I.P.M. program are not based on the routine application of pesticides, but on monitoring and inspecting for pest, modifying structures, improving sanitation, and changing personnel practices that can contribute to pest problems. The Contractor shall also provide evidence of an understanding of the principles and practices governing sanitation in food service areas in addition to the other areas of the Facility buildings and the impact of pests and pest management methods on the on-going activities of a facility. At a minimum, the I.P.M.P. shall consist of the development and implementation of regularly scheduled pest management services (pest include invertebrate and vertebrate animals); routine and special meetings between pest management personnel and Facility Staff; routine and specially scheduled training, and written reports describing program status and recommendations for corrective actions that need to be implemented by the Norton Correctional Facility or the Contractor. The Contractor shall place and maintain two electronic fly traps in the kitchen in the Medium Facility Kitchen. The traps shall be serviced monthly.
