Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objective of construction documentation services is to provide comprehensive photographic/video records of the project, typically at the following times: • Prior to demolition and/or start of construction • Periodically during construction, particularly at specified milestones • At substantial completion and/or project completion. Projects may be a new building, a major/minor renovation, or other infrastructure improvements. Construction documentation typically involves: • Comprehensive photographic/video coverage including different views and context • Under-slab, in-wall, and above-ceiling shots as appropriate • Detail views as appropriate, with particular attention to utility systems, flashings and other building components that are often problematic or will be concealed from view in the completed work. • Labeling and diagrams as necessary to identify the project, location and views • When completed, the documentation images should create a series of time-lapse photographs or videos from essentially the same viewpoints throughout construction.
