Specifications include, but are not limited to: Qualified consultants to carry out a Pedestrian Study for the City. Review relevant data, including current City goals, walking and biking patterns, safety issues, existing and planned land uses, tourism, community events, economic development strategies, street designs, health issues, barriers to and opportunities for safe and comfortable walking and biking experiences, the City’s Comprehensive Plan, zoning code, street design and maintenance standards, subdivision and parking regulations, residential and commercial development approach, and pedestrian‐oriented generators and attractors such as schools, commercial areas, parks, community events, and neighborhoods. Solicit, collect, and analyze community and stakeholder input regarding interest in walking and biking within Rose Hill and to surrounding communities Analyze and report on the impact of pedestrian‐oriented transportation options and walkable‐ scale development on community goals Work with stakeholders to develop a vision for walking and biking in Rose Hill.
