It shall be safe for use on polycarbonate caging, metal, glass, ceramic tile, and cement surfaces. It shall be acceptable for use in automatic cage washing machines, manual dip tanks, or manual sprayers. Scale remover shall be effective over a wide range of water conditions. The product shall contain a wetting agent that limits excessive foam when used in cage wash equipment. The reaction products of the detergent shall be soluble and removed soils should be held in suspension. The product will be free of strong oxidizing agents such as sulfuric, nitric, and chromic acid. The product will be stable in wash temperatures in excess of 180oF. The product will not require neutralizing or buffering at the end of a wash cycle when tanks are purged to sanitary sewer.
