Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the project is to provide prescription medication and durable medical equipment for low-income, uninsured adults in Sedgwick County through an existing coordinated system of healthcare services. The successful proposer(s) will develop a system to determine eligible service recipients based on 125% or lower of the current Federal Poverty Guidelines and residency verification, and link recipients to donated medical care through an existing coordinated network of healthcare providers. Specific outcomes could include access to prescriptions, durable medical equipment, and basic care and preventative doctor visits, to significant medical procedures. The services are not limited to medical needs and may include dental needs.
