Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Foundation: Stabilize wall in place. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RETURN WALL TO VERTICLE POSITION. NA A. Install a system of vertical steel beams per product manufacturer’s recommendation along the North Wall. B. Exterior – Remove and preserve window wells on the North, West and South walls. C. Remove front (south) sidewalk D. Excavate along the foundation walls to the bottom of the existing footing and store soil on property. E. Apply an exterior grade rubber type of waterproofing membrane along the exterior of the foundation walls. (Prep walls per manufacturer’s specifications.) F. Install at minimum ¼” thick rigid foam board over the membrane in order to protect the membrane material. G. Remove existing drain tile and install new drain tile utilizing Filter fabric per manufacturer recommendation, and at a minimum use ¼” stone and cover with Six (6) inches of appropriate drainage material such as coarse sand. (See sample schematic) H. Install new window well drains in each window well and connect to drain tile. Tie drain tile into existing sump pump system. I. The exterior excavation may be back filled with excavated material. Grade to create positive flow away from the foundation. Foundation Total: 2. Plumbing: Exterior Sump Pump A. Disconnect any and all plumbing and HVAC systems including gas, as necessary for the work to be done and reconnect all plumbing and HVAC systems when work is finished in that location. Plumbing Total: 3. Carpentry: A. Re-install exterior window wells that were removed. B. Install new plastic window well covers on egress windows C.
