Contractor is to provide vending machine equipment/refrigeration equipment of the most recent model and not manufactured prior to 2018. 2. Contractor is to provide the most energy efficient equipment manufactured. 3. Vending equipment must be equipped with meters (counting devices) to register gross income in a manner suitable for scheduled auditing as a basis of payment and settlement. 4. Vending equipment must have the capability of receiving $1 and $5 bills, $1 coin and credit cards. Credit card processing must meet PCI compliance. 5. Vending equipment shall have the capability of returning change in amounts of $.05, $.10, $.25 and $1.00, and have adequate change inventory for required returns. 6. All vending machine equipment must accept nickels, dimes, quarters and dollars and shall also be equipped with a microprocessor-controlled dollar bill acceptor as an equipment accessory. 7. A suitable refund policy agreed to by Merriam Parks and Recreation formalfunctioning vending machines shall be developed. 8. A picture and description of equipment to be installed must be provided with information regarding energy efficiency.
