Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Perform facilities management duties for the Venture Accelerator building, including contracting for maintenance and repair of facilities and grounds. This also includes receiving maintenance requests from Commerce staff and Venture Accelerator tenants, contacting the appropriate service provider, monitoring the service provider’s work, matching that with received invoices and authorizing payment. 2. Monitor the building physically and via the Building Automation System 24/7/365(366 in Leap Years). Notify the appropriate service provider and lab tenants when any problems arise that could potentially put them outside of their acceptable range of temperatures/humidity or otherwise disrupt their normal business practices. 3. Serve as the primary contact with governmental entities dealing with the Venture Accelerator building, including but not limited to the Olathe Planning Department, the Olathe Fire Department, Water District No. 1, the State Boiler Inspector. 4. Prepare briefing materials for Commerce staff members on Venture Accelerator building or the history of the Kansas Bioscience Park. 5. Track expenses by fiscal year and provide all required financial reports and footnotes to Commerce Fiscal for CAFR.
