Specifications include, but are not limited to: State ICF/IID regulations requires PSHTC to have a registered Dietitian employed minimally on a contract basis to maintain ICF/IID compliance. Must be registered by the State of Kansas. This is a professional service that is responsible for analyzing and reviewing PSHTC’s administration and execution of its Food Service Program to ensure compliance with ICF/IID regulations. Duties are performed with wide latitude for independent judgment and action. Dietitian uses instructions and methods provided through relative K.A.R. guidelines as interpreted by KHDE survey teams for ICF/IID facilities. Critical decisions are discussed with Clinical Director, Director of Dietary Services, Public Service Executive (business manager) and/or Superintendent. Most assignments are written and/or oral with limited detail provided. When major changes requiring significant procedural modifications are implemented, assignments may contain greater detail.
