Specifications include, but are not limited to: ITEM NO. 1 DEMOLITION: BID PRICE A. Demolish and remove from site to an approved landfill, the residential structures located at 933 Village Drive. The structures shall include but not be limited to the residential building, basement walls, foundations, outbuildings and their entire foundations, decks, canopies, clothesline poles, porches, steps, concrete pads, patios, sidewalk, above ground and below ground supports, footers, and piers; landscaping and any remaining fence, wiring, plumbing, conduit, fixtures, equipment, and personal property. B. Remove the appropriate mailbox for this address. C. Remove asphalt and concrete driveway and replace with topsoil to an elevation level to the surrounding area. ITEM NO. 2 UTILILTY SERVICES: A. Disconnect water line at meter, meter pit to remain. B. The contractor shall work with all the utility companies (gas, electric, and phone) to ensure the abandonment of all utilities to the structure. C. The sewer lateral must be capped and left open for inspection, per requirements of the Code Service Office ITEM NO. 3 SITE RESTORATION: A. Restore the site to a natural open space for passive recreational use. This shall include filling all holes and cavities with clean compactable fill material, graded to drain, bringing the area to a flat, finished surface ready for seeding. B. Concrete debris from the basement walls, foundations patio, sidewalk, and pads may be used as bottom fill in basement area and must be broken into smaller pieces to eliminate voids. Only concrete from the foundation, patio, sidewalks, and pads can be used as fill in the basement area. If the concrete floor of the basement is left, it must be punctured with sufficient holes to allow for drainage before filling with debris. C. Demolition debris must not be within less than 3 feet of the finished surface. Remaining fill material shall be dirt fill applied in 12” lifts and then compacted. Top 24” of fill shall be topsoil compacted.
