Specifications include, but are not limited to: Under guidance and input of the Johnson County Conservation Board and with input from the general public, staff and elected officials, develop a site plan that preserves the agricultural and family farm character of the site while at the same time provide facilities for staff offices, an operations shop, equipment storage, public parking, public and staff restrooms, interpretive and information features/signage, possible education facility or classroom (indoor and/or outdoor) and use as a rest area for cyclists using Sand Road. Other features and important site elements may evolve during the project so the above list should not be considered inclusive of all the project elements. The location and routing of access road(s) to the project site and to the rest of the property is to be compatible with the existing and proposed uses.
