Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Respondent shall be able to provide at a minimum the following services: Physical Examinations by a licensed physician for each scheduled DPS Peace Officer Candidates, DPS Academy Peace Officer Applicants & Incumbent Law Enforcement Officers. Incumbent Officer Physicals must be conducted between January 1st and June 30th of the designated year. Additional physicals for incumbent officers may be required throughout the year depending on the officers work status during this time frame. Visual Acuity Examination for each scheduled DPS Peace Officer Candidates, DPS Academy Peace Officer Applicants & Incumbent Law Enforcement Officers. Color Perception Examination with the use of any test designed and documented to identify extreme anomalous trichromatic, dichromatic or monochromatic color vision, for each scheduled DPS Peace Officer Candidates, DPS Academy Peace Officer Applicants & DPS Incumbent Officers. Prostate Examination for male DPS Peace Officer Candidates, DPS Academy Peace Officer Applicants & DPS Incumbent Officers, if requested by the Officer. Pap Smear Examination for female DPS Peace Officer Candidates, DPS Academy Peace Officer Applicants & DPS Incumbent Officers, if requested by the Officer. Laboratory Specimen Testing including: Chemical Urinalysis Phlebotomy Comprehensive Metabolic Profile Completed Blood Count without differential Lipid Panel
