Specifications include, but are not limited to: If you are interested in this project, please provide details for a project that would: Review and compile existing C&D guidance and best practices (i.e. documents, demonstration videos, etc.) created by the federal government, other state/local governments, or other organizations. Part of this should include summarizing existing guidance and best practices on establishing C&D in any weather conditions and identifying gaps where applicable. Hyperlinks to resources identified during this process will eventually be organized and housed on an IDALS’ webpage so they are easily accessible by anyone in Iowa. Based on the review of existing C&D guidance create a list of common supplies that a premises’ owner could obtain on their own (i.e. an inexpensive tarp and pool noodles to create a berm to collect wastewater) and identify those that are not readily available. Update/expand existing C&D guidance IDALS issued to quarantined premises during the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Outbreak (HPAI) outbreak (attachment 1) Existing IDALS’ C&D guidance (attachment 1) should be updated/expanded using already established guidance from USDA in the FAD PReP Cleaning and Disinfection SOP and NVAP Module 4: Preventing Disease Introduction and Spread, as well as other pertinent sources identified by the contract awardee during their review of existing C&D guidance and best practices. Updated/expanded IDALS’ guidance should include recommendations to mitigate water runoff and ambient temperature at the C&D station. Examples include placing a tarp and berm for water runoff and utilizing a tent or already existing structure during cold weather as well as any other methods identified during the contract awardee’s review of existing guidance and best practices.
