Design scope shall include: • Review and evaluation for repair/replacement of the gutters and downspouts. Need to double check the integrity of the flatlock system in the bottom of the gutters, the joint sealant used between copper sheets and the sides of the gutters, and investigate (e.g. camera) downspouts for any clogged situations. Review roof drains in the gutter system for proper functionality. Review seams at downspout connections for any possible leak situations. Review downspout joints for leaking. • Review and evaluation of heat trace system on the building eaves, gutters, and downspouts. Need to test that cables of the system work, cables are correctly attached to the building, and cabling/electrical connections are sound. • Review stone areas below the gutters and behind downspouts that appear to be taking on water for structural integrity and see if the gutter/downspout system is the source of the situation. • Gutter systems around the 4 smaller domes only need to be reviewed at the main roof level, same elevation as the rest of the gutters. The gutters at the base of the 4 domes, higher in elevation than the main roof level, will NOT need to be reviewed. This are being reviewed as part of another project.
