Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5.1 Facilitate and manage input from multidisciplinary teams during the strategic planning development process, which include members of the Westcom Management Committee, the Westcom supervisory staff, Westcom staff at all other levels of responsibility, and elected officials from the five Westcom cities. Soliciting input may require the use of surveys, interviews, specialty on-site focus group/s or one-on-one meetings, and informational meetings. 5.2 Facilitate and gather input on the perception of citizens and area business community regarding Westcom. 5.3 Create a Strategic Plan document for recommendation to Westcom that will include components such as: Strength, weakness, opportunities, threats (SWOT) analysis Responsibilities, vision, and mission statement(s) Core values Organizational objectives Strategies to achieve the Plan Objectives as described on page 2. 5.4 Determine and recommend an appropriate time frame and execution strategy for Westcom’s Strategic Plan. 5.5 Assist with communicating the value and importance of the Strategic Plan to Westcom staff and stakeholders as requested and with presenting strategic planning concepts to the Westcom Management Committee.
