Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) Scope Coordination meeting where the City Project Manager presents and describes the project to the Surveyor. A Capital Improvement Project (CIP) or Non-CIP Project Number will be assigned, along with detailed scope of work, detailed description of deliverables, a timeline for the services and a Survey Project Request Form will be pro vided - see Attachment E. b) The City Project Manager shall provide a City utility map showing storm and sanitary sewers, fiber-optic and water system.c) The Surveyor will have three (3) days to visit the site and respond with a schedule and a not-to-exceed price to provide the Services and data listed on the Survey Project Request Form. The not-to-exceed price will be derived from hourly labor pricing submitted in response to this RFP.d) The Surveyor will call for utility locates, request utility maps and collect field data on existing utilities, including site, materials, location and elevation on underground structures. e) The Surveyor will contact the City Project Manager for assistance with City-owned utility features that cannot be located or opened (i.e., manholes that are buried, paved over or have lids that are rusted, stuck or broken or similar items).f) The Surveyor shall process the field data, add utility data from maps and field locates and provide the field points file and processed digital electronic data in the file format indicated on the Survey Project Request Form.g) The City Project Manager and Surveyor shall coordinate improvements (CAD standards, Field Data Codes, Drawing Symbols, etc.) for future projects. The Public Works Department, who will be the primary user of the Contract, utilizes Civil AutoCAD 3D. The Utilities Department – Water Operations Division uses Carlson software, which is AutoCAD compatible.
