Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bidder must be able to cover the following topics: 3.1.1 Basics of Analytics: descriptive, predictive and prescriptive. 3.1.2 Data Considerations: quality, availability and legal implications. 3.1.3 Overview of common data analytics tools. 3.1.4 Insights into emerging advanced practices. 3.1.5 Fundamentals: Considerations before performing advanced analytics. 3.1.6 Expanding Excel capabilities using PivotTables (and when Excel is not enough). 3.1.7 Analytical tool overview: R, Tableau, PowerBi and others. 3.1.8 Examples of analytics application in specific use cases. 3.2 Instructor(s) must have a Master’s degree or PhD in a related field. 3.3 Instructor(s) must have five (5) years or more experience in delivering lectures and training in data analytics. 3.4 Bidder must have experience working with state government in an analytics related capacity. 3.5 The initial four (4) workshops must be given in the spring of 2020 within a three (3) week timeframe. 3.6 Instructors must provide the curriculum and any teaching tools and resources.
