Specifications include, but are not limited to: cut, shear, or grind all tree and brush species with the trunks level with the ground on approximately 113 acres on the east side of Badger Creek State Recreation Area; treat with approved herbicide all stumps of deciduous trees and brush that are sheared or cut with a saw except for Cedar trees that do not need to be treated; pile all trees and brush that are not ground or mulched at least 150 feet interior of recreation area fence or recreation area access road. All tree piles shall be as tight as possible with no more than 11 piles made for outlined area. The Bidder shall obtain explicit written approval to adjust the number of tree piles from the DNR Grand RiverWildlife Unit Project Manager.
