Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Ownership or use of a technology platform that can coordinate pick up and drop off of eligible clients. The service should have the following characteristics: a. Intuitive and accessible interface for riders and drivers; b. System should be functional on smart-phones and tablets; c. Ability to allow for real-time pick-up requests; d. Ability to allow for advanced reservations; e. Easy and constant communication with IndyGo and its contracted paratransit provider; f. Location accuracy of the driver and the rider for pick-up and delivery; g. Display special rider accommodations; h. Ability to distinguish service between ADA and non-ADA service area; i. Display vehicle and driver description for riders; and j. Accurate location of the vehicle in route to the origin/destination. 2. Creation and enforcement of policies and procedures for contracted driver hiring, training, and terminations.
