Perform HAZMAT investigations for INDOT projects in various stages of development; facilitate INDOT in-house investigations; support sampling and reporting of Hazmat issues; produce graphics/reports/exhibits/models/technical expertise; and develop remedial design in a cost effective and expedient manner for INDOT sites. Provide specialized testing, sampling, training, and reporting on all manner of Hazmat issues to include, but not limited to: asbestos, lead, PCBs, VOCs, Metals, SVOCs, vapor intrusion, spills, indoor air quality, HAZWOPER, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II ESAs, Further Site Investigation, Corrective Action Plan, Closure Report, Other hazardous materials consultation, any part or entirety of any of these investigations. All investigations must follow applicable guidance: Industry standards for environmental work such as IDEM's RCG Technical guidance and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) protocol, particularly SW-846 methodologies and ASTM standards.
