Description

The Village of Orland Park is soliciting bids from Contractors for the demolition and replacement of a motor control center at the Village of Orland Park Main Pumping Station, 8800 Thistlewood Lane, Orland Park, IL 60462.

Major components of the project include:

Replacement of one 480V motor control center with a new 480V motor control center with a new PLC controlled automatic transfer scheme to transfer between the utility and existing standby generator sources;
Replacement of all incoming service conductors and outgoing load conductors;
Installation of a new portable generator connection cabinet;
Integration services to monitor parameters of the new motor control center via SCADA;
Coordination with the electric utility company;
Coordination with the VILLAGE to schedule outages as needed to complete the work.
