Specifications include, but are not limited to: The connection point is located within the lower campground. The project shall then include underground trenches to the contractor provided load centers that will provide service to the individual pedestals. Also, underground trenches to twenty-nine contractor-provided and installed RV power pedestals located near the rear right-hand side of the existing campsite pads. This is the typical location of a recreational vehicle’s electrical hook-up as it is backed into a camping space. Electrical power is also required to the existing picnic shelter with four (4) GFI outlets with waterproof covers mounted on the exterior shelter columns. Three (3) overhead vandalism-resistant LED lights shall be mounted on the lower rafter beams. These lamp fixtures shall be low profile, two foot by two foot in size, with the intent for them to be mounted recessed between the bottom chords of the rafters. These lamps shall be suitable for wet locations, tamper resistant and have an opal prismatic lens. The style of light fixture shall be verified with the site superintendent prior to ordering. Each lamp shall be in the range of 25 - 50 watts and all will be set on a timer for automatic shutoff. All electrical wiring located above ground will be required to be enclosed within a conduit and properly secured to the wooden shelter frame. WORK TO BE PERFORMED BY CONTRACTOR A. Inspect the site and coordinate with the site superintendent to determine the exact extent of the project; and layout locations of any load centers, transformers, meters and electrical hook-up pedestals at each campsite. B. The intent of this project is to provide new, user friendly connection points for recreational vehicles with electric hook-up capabilities. C. Contractor to supply all labor, material and equipment to complete this project. Contractor will make any / all arrangements with Adams Electric Cooperative to provide electricity to the site. Any fee or cost should be included within the contractors bid. D. All work will be performed per manufacturer’s specifications and applicable Electrical Codes and be supervised by a licensed electrician. E. All required metering, transformers, cut-offs and breaker boxes will be included in this project. F. Power pedestals shall have a poured concrete base pad per manufacturer’s specifications and be capable of a 20, 30 and 50-amp hook-up for single camper site connection ports, with electric service only. Each pedestal location shall be placed at a reasonable distance to the expected location of the recreational vehicle hook-up ports. Twenty-nine (29) power pedestals total required. Confirm style with site superintendent before ordering. G. The contractor shall determine the distribution pattern to the individual campsite pedestals. Open trenching will be allowed. Any camping pads disturbed by the trenching process will be restored to their original condition. A J.U.L.I.E. utility locate will be required. H. The existing picnic shelter shall be wired with four (4) GFI protected electrical outlets with waterproof covers mounted on the exterior shelter columns. The electrical wiring located above ground will be required to be placed within a conduit.
