The Authority is soliciting proposals from experienced law firms and solo practitioners to serve as real estate counsel on an as-needed basis for the Authority in connection with simple and complex affordable housing finance transactions. Authority transactions often involve a multi-layered financing approach. Private lending and equity investments are often combined with loan and grant programs. The Authority expects transactions to be closed expeditiously, with minmal risk to the Authority. Evaluations of the Firm will be based on the following categories: A. Availibity/Capacity B. Professional Qualifications C. Ability to Perform Services D. Diversity and Inclusion The Authority reserves the right to conduct an additional RFP process if the needs of the Authority require it or if unique qualifications become necessary.
