Specifications include, but are not limited to: Install, repair and maintain hot and cold-water lines, sewer pipe, soil pipe traps and appliances such as water closets, lavatories, urinals, showers, tubs and all fittings; Cut and thread pipe(s), using stocks and dies, power threading machines, power saws, wrenches and pipe machine; Melt and caulk lead joints, using gasoline furnaces, blow torches, caulking chisels and cutting and welding equipment; Trenching and back filling operations (the Vendor must own or be able to supply a rubber tire backhoe that has the capability to dig eight (8) feet); Install, repair and maintain high and low pressure steam lines, traps, valves, pump connections, expansion joints, air and vacuum systems, gas and brine pipes and radiators; Use and operate pipe wrenches, chain tongs, chain falls, stocks and dies, power driven pipe cutting and threading machines, cutting and welding equipment; Clean and replace defective pipe and fittings; packs points, valves and pumps; repairs leaky pipes and fittings; replaces piping and accessories to steam and hot water boilers; Cross connection control device inspection, testing tagging for RPZ valves at all sprinkler buildings, and repair systems as needed.
