Specifications include, but are not limited to: Installation of the Art Works - Key Pieces This will involve assisting the artist to install his/her artwork transported from England. In most instances, this installation will require a crew to assemble truss and structures based on plans supplied. We expect the artist will be on site or a production manager will supervise the work. Required skills needed by the crew include: operation of fork lift trucks, building truss, some work at height, understanding of basic lighting and cabling of fixtures. Installation of the LX Fixtures and general background lighting of the landscape and trees One requirement calls for laying out lighting units based on an LX plan supplied. These units will need to be tested and connected to the electrical supply be either hard power or by generators. At least one member of this crew will be needed to program the lights using a lighting desk and at least two of the crew would need to have a good eye for focusing the lights and creating the desired effects as detailed by designer. A second requirement is putting out pea lights in trees. This work may require working at height and tree climbing in addition to general lighting work. This work may be time consuming and require crewmembers a high standard with attention to detail, but does not need the same high level of skill as some of the tasks outlined above.
