Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday Cleaning • Empty all trash and sanitary napkin receptacles (clean and replace liners as needed) • Empty recycling cans (see Recycling note) • Sweep and wet mop all tile, linoleum, or concrete floors and steps including mat wells (remove floor mats before moping) • Vacuum all carpeted areas and floor mats, spot clean as needed • Check all light fixtures and replace bulbs as needed including in elevators (see Building Services note) • Check and replace toilet paper, hand towels, hand soap, deodorant blocks, and air fresheners • Clean and sanitize all showers, toilets, urinals, basins, door handles, and stall handles • Clean mirrors and counter top areas in bathrooms • Clean exterior and interior glass entrance doorways and windows on north and west side of City Building • Clean tables and chairs in break rooms • Clean counters and tables in copy rooms • Clean copiers with disinfecting wipes • Clean sinks, counters, cabinets, outside of refrigerators and microwaves (inside and outside) in kitchen areas and replace paper towels • Clean and sanitize all drinking fountains • Polish elevator doors, handrails, control panels and walls • Vacuum and wet mop floors in both elevators B. Weekly Cleaning • Dust and clean all flat surfaces except for individual desk tops • Buff all non-carpeted floors including floors of elevators • Sanitize all hand rails and door handles • Dust venetian blinds as needed • Clean glass in interior doors • Dust televisions and wall pictures • Sanitize floor drains (pour a half gallon of water per week down the floor drain to prevent odors when the drain dries out) • Clean and dust all flat surfaces in Council Chambers • Clean door tracks and light diffusers in elevators • Clean drinking fountains and re-supply ADA cup dispenser for the drinking fountains • Refill odor neutralizing gel receptacles, located in each bathroom; refill gel is stocked with the building’s janitorial supplies C. Monthly Cleaning • Clean heating/cooling louvers • Clean walls, doors, door frames, interior windows and window sills • Clean all light fixtures • Clean front of vending machines • Wax or clean wood risers (wooden trim on and around the elevated Council seating area in the Council Chambers located on the first floor of the City Building). Cleaning should be done with an approved wood surface cleaner/treatment. • Vacuum all chairs in Council Chambers
