Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs (IDVA) is seeking sealed proposals from qualified vendors that have the capability to administer the Illinois Warrior Assistance Program (IWAP). The selected Vendor will have an established, state-wide network of credentialed behavioral health providers to provide screening, assessment, referral, care coordination, counseling, psychotherapy, prescriptions for behavioral health medications, legal and financial counseling and other support services for veterans suffering from mild traumatic brain injury (TBI), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and related behavioral health disorders. IWAP administrator will provide a 24/7 toll-free resource and referral line with access to behavioral health clinicians for eligible veterans and their family members. A key component of this 24/7 toll-free phone line is the Vendor’s capability to provide telephonic TBI and PTSD screening for eligible veterans, as well as online outreach communication capabilities. The Vendor will develop and maintain a comprehensive website, including a web chat feature 24 hour live service seven days a week, that provides clinical consultations to potential clients and communicates the benefits of the program. The Vendor will demonstrate their commitment to providing superior service to the Agency, veterans and veterans’ family members.
