Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Chicago (“City”), acting through the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH), seeks qualified organizations to provide HIV services that promote the use of antiretroviral medications (ARV) for treatment of persons living with HIV and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for persons vulnerable to HIV in the Chicago Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA), which includes Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will Counties. Responses are requested for the following funding opportunity: Resource Coordination. Reducing the burden of HIV disease is a core focus of Healthy Chicago 2.0. Healthy Chicago 2.0 is the citywide plan to increase health equity among Chicago residents and communities. CDPH’s HIV/STI Bureau works with partner organizations throughout the city and surrounding counties to focus resources in communities and with populations with greatest need. This funding is specifically designated to support Resource Coordination which will create a single EMA-wide resource hub for persons living with and vulnerable to HIV.
