Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Contract is primarily to be used in support of the Department of Housing’s Emergency Heating Repair Program (EHRP). The EHRP program is supported by federal funds provided by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). This program provides eligible household applicants with necessary emergency heating related small repairs. The Work will consist of small construction heating repairs in conjunction with the EHRP program. Work may include, but not limited to replacement of heating on residential structures containing four or less units. The Work is primarily intended for small repair and replacement of heat systems, including but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, masonry, and safety devices for private residences. The Contractor is responsible for executing a document after the initial scope along with the Job Order Price Proposal that states a diagnostic evaluation was performed and that any reasonable repairs will be made in lieu of replacement of a new heating unit when such conditions are present. The expectation is that a repair is priority and that replacement is a last option.
