Specifications include, but are not limited to: Park Office Building: The park office is approximately 2800 sq. ft. wood frame building which is made up of 6/12 and 8/12 pitched roofs with 3 tab asphalt shingles on felt paper on a plywood roof deck. Work will include the complete removal of the asphalt shingle roofing material, underlayment, flashing, ridge vent and gutters. The roof will receive new roofing material consisting of re-flashing any roof penetrations, installation of a new proper length ridge vent, new flashing and drip edge, ice and water shield at eaves and valleys, synthetic underlayment, new architectural style composite shingles, and re-use existing gutters and downspouts. The satellite dish and antenna will be removed and replaced along with any wiring as part of the bid. Park Storage Barn: The Storage Barn is approximately 2000 sq. ft. which is made up of 6 ½ / 12 and 18/12 pitched roofs. The existing roof consists of 3 tab asphalt shingles on felt paper on 1x sheathing boards. Work will include the complete removal of the asphalt shingle roofing material, underlayment, flashing, and gutters from the roof. The roof will receive new roofing material consisting of re-flashing any roof penetrations, new flashing and drip edge, ice and water shield at eaves and valleys, synthetic underlayment, new architectural style composite shingles, re-use existing gutters and downspouts. The existing cupolas will stay in place and be re-flashed. The flat roof on the shed attached to barn will not be touched. The new shingles will need to be installed over the flat roof to make roof water proof as part of the project. The flat roof will be inspected before and after barn roof is repaired and contractor will be responsible for any damage done to flat roof.
